Copper Harbor
— 10 nights

Copper Harbor is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in northeastern Keweenaw County in the U.S. Get some historical perspective at Quincy Mine and Eagle Harbor Lighthouse and Museums. Mineral Museum of Michigan and Coppertown USA Mining Museum will appeal to museum buffs. Change things up with these side-trips from Copper Harbor: The Jampot (in Eagle Harbor), Houghton (Nara Nature Park & Carnegie Museum) and Houghton County Historical Museum Complex (in Lake Linden). Spend the 30th (Mon) exploring nature at Keweenaw National Historical Park. There's much more to do: take a memorable drive along Brockway Mountain Drive, look for all kinds of wild species at Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and enjoy the sea views from Fort Wilkins State Park.
