Bring the kids along to Winter Park Resort and Keystone Ski Area. Get out of town with these interesting Copper Mountain side-trips: Rock Hut (in Leadville), Beaver Creek Ski Area (in Beaver Creek) and Vail Valley Escape Room (in Avon). On the 6th (Wed), spend an exhilarating day on the slopes at Arapahoe Basin.
