Keep things going the next day: get engrossed in the history at Mammoth Museum at the Hayden Cabin, hike along Parker Lake Trail, and then get impressive views of Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve.

You can take a bus from Mammoth Lakes to Yosemite National Park in 1.5 hours. In July in Yosemite National Park, expect temperatures between 83°F during the day and 46°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Sat) so you can travel to South Lake Tahoe.

High in the Sierra Nevada mountains on the shore of one of America’s most scenic lakes, South Lake Tahoe captures the spirit of the outdoors and serves as a hub for tourism activities surrounding the lake.
Visiting Sand Harbor and Nevada Beach Campground will get you outdoors. We've included these beaches for you: Baldwin Beach and Burnt Cedar Beach. Go for a jaunt from South Lake Tahoe to New Washoe City to see Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory about 52 minutes away. There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Van Sickle Bi-State Park, indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area, immerse yourself in nature at D.L. Bliss State Park, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Lakeside Beach.
