Lewes — 4 nights

Lewes is an incorporated city on the Delaware Bay in eastern Sussex County, Delaware. Attractions like Cape Henlopen State Park and Rehoboth Beach Public Beach make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting Lewes side-trips: Dover (John Dickinson Plantation & Air Mobility Command Museum). There's still lots to do: take in the waterfront at Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, see the interesting displays at Preservation Forge, explore the activities along Gordons Pond, and indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas.

The First State
