Dynamo of Dixie

Once saddled with the reputation of being one of the country's dirtiest cities, Chattanooga now boasts a pedestrian-friendly downtown with a network of leafy waterfront trails and free electric shuttles.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Point Park - Lookout Mountain Battlefields and Cloudland Canyon State Park. Visit Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Chattanooga National Cemetery for their historical value. Change things up with a short trip to Red Clay State Historic Park in Cleveland (about 42 minutes away). There's lots more to do: get outside with High Point Climbing, stroll through Lookout Mountain, see what you can catch with a fishing tour, and see the interesting displays at Creative Discovery Museum.
