Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Pack the 20th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. Pack the 22nd (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. There's still lots to do: discover the magic at Walt Disney World Resort, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St James Roman Catholic Cathedral, and get in on the family fun at SeaWorld.

Chicago to Orlando is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Chicago to Orlando due to the time zone difference. A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
