Tybee Island — 1 night

Tybee Island is a city and barrier island located in Chatham County, Georgia, 18 miles (29 km) east of Savannah, United States. Start off your visit on the 10th (Tue): see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Fort Pulaski National Monument. On the next day, examine the collection at Tybee Island Light Station And Museum and then enjoy the sand and surf at Tybee Island Beach.

New York City to Tybee Island is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. In May, Tybee Island is a bit warmer than New York City - with highs of 80°F and lows of 66°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) early enough to fly to Islamorada.

Islamorada, long recognized as one of the world's top spots for sport fishing, encompasses six islands in the Florida Keys.

Marathon — 2 nights

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Fri): tour the pleasant surroundings at Sombrero Beach, stroll through The Turtle Hospital, and then head outdoors with Outdoor Activities.
