11 days in Glacier National Park Itinerary

The glaciers from which Glacier National Park takes its name mostly dissipated eons ago, but they left behind a scoured landscape of high and steep mountain peaks, sparkling lakes, lush alpine meadows, and thick forests.

Change things up with a short trip to Aster Falls in East Glacier Park (about 56 minutes away). On the 16th (Fri), hike the day away at Highline Trail. There's lots more to do: trek along Iceberg Lake Trail, cruise along Going-to-the-Sun Road, tour the pleasant surroundings at Swiftcurrent Falls, and explore the activities along Avalanche Lake.
