From its main thoroughfare, Boise greets visitors with a view of downtown framed by the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Take a break from the city and head to Ridge to River Trail System and Hulls Gulch Nature Trail. Step off the beaten path and head to Hyde Park and Boise National Forest. There's still lots to do: stroll through Boise River Greenbelt and look for all kinds of wild species at Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area.
