A small resort town with a year-round population of just 3,000, Provincetown draws nearly 60,000 annual visitors with its scenic beaches, art colonies, galleries, theaters, and shops.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Cape Cod National Seashore and Marconi Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Nauset Beach (in Orleans) and Salt Pond Visitor Center (in Eastham). There's still lots to do: stroll through Race Point Beach, explore the galleries of Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum, enjoy the sand and surf at Herring Cove Beach, and get lost in a book at Provincetown Library.

Start off your visit on the 26th (Thu): get curious at Sandwich Glass Museum, then contemplate the long history of Mayflower II, then pause for some photo ops at Plymouth Rock, and finally take an in-depth tour of Plimoth Plantation.
