Traverse City might be well known for its huge cherry industry, but its position along Grand Traverse Bay in Lake Michigan endows it with fine scenery and a wealth of outdoor attractions.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Big Kahuna Charters as well as 7 Monks Taproom. Do your shopping at Northern Latitudes Distillery and Front Street. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Suttons Bay Ciders and Chateau Fontaine. Manistique
Manistique, formerly Monistique, is the only incorporated city in and the county seat of Schoolcraft County of the U.S. On the 26th (Fri), contemplate the waterfront views at Kitch-Iti-Kipi (The Big Spring), then explore the striking landscape at Palms Book State Park, and then look for gifts at The Mustard Seed. On the 27th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: hike along The Manistique Boardwalk and River Walk, then immerse yourself in nature at Fayette Historic State Park, and then contemplate the long history of Historical Village Fayette Park.
