Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Petroglyph National Monument as well as Sandia Peak Tramway. On the 30th (Wed), tour the pleasant surroundings at Petroglyph National Monument, then get a new perspective on nature at Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, and then examine the collection at New Mexico Steam Locomotive. On your second day here, get to know the fascinating history of Albuquerque Old Town and then catch a ride on Sandia Peak Tramway.
