New York City

— 7 nights

Big Apple

Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Museum-lovers will appreciate 9/11 Memorial and American Museum of Natural History. Visit 8th Ave Jetty and Point Lookout Beach for some beach relaxation. Venture out of the city with trips to Cupsogue Beach County Park (in Westhampton Beach), Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge (in Oceanville) and Lido Beach (in Lido Beach). There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Fifth Avenue, visit Times Square, explore the landscape on two wheels at East River Waterfront Esplanade, and race across the water with a speed boat tour.

To see where to stay, reviews, ratings, and more tourist information, refer to the New York City road trip planner.
