Spirit of the Columbia

Astoria, named for famed fur trader John Jacob Astor, resides near the mouth of the Columbia River.
On the 7th (Wed), explore and take pictures at Astoria Column, see the interesting displays at Flavel House Museum, then admire the majestic nature at Fort Stevens State Park, and finally step aboard Peter Iredale Ship Wreck. On your second day here, immerse yourself in nature at Hug Point State Park, then view the masterpieces at Icefire Glassworks, then walk around Seafarers' Park, and finally snap pictures at Astoria-Megler Bridge.
