Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Fri): learn about all things military at Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall, take in the awesome beauty at Mount Washington, then identify plant and animal life at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, and finally explore and take pictures at Hartwood Acres.
