Take a break from the city and head to Valley Forge National Historical Park and Kelly Drive. Visit Independence Hall and Christ Church for their historical value. Explore Philadelphia's surroundings by going to Sandy Hollow (in West Chester) and Longwood Gardens (in Kennett Square). There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Independence National Historical Park, admire the masterpieces at Philadelphia Museum of Art, hike along Schuylkill River Trail, and try your luck at Harrah's Philadelphia.
