Phoenix
— 10 nights

Phoenix is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. Get outdoors at Boyce Thompson Arboretum and Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. Kids will enjoy Musical Instrument Museum and Piestewa Peak. Venture out of the city with trips to Goldfield Ghost Town (in Apache Junction), the Dolly Steamboat (in Tortilla Flat) and Lake Pleasant Regional Park (in Morristown). There's much more to do: take in the awesome beauty at Camelback Mountain, explore the world behind art at Heard Museum, get to know the resident critters at Phoenix Zoo, and get curious at Arizona Science Center.
