Explore San Antonio's surroundings by going to New Braunfels (Landa Park & Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels). Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and Houston Museum District will appeal to museum buffs. Head to Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and Old Town Springfor some retail therapy. Explore Houston's surroundings by going to Lake Jackson Historical Museum (in Lake Jackson), La Porte (Sylvan Beach Park & San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site) and Kemah Boardwalk (in Kemah).
