San Antonio

— 10 nights

The Alamo City

As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Kids will appreciate attractions like The Alamo and Briscoe Western Art Museum. Get some cultural insight at Mission Trail and San Antonio Museum of Art. Venture out of the city with trips to Medina River (in Bandera), Kerrville (The Museum of Western Art & The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Gardens) and Boerne (Cibolo Nature Center, Cave Without a Name, &more). There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Joseph Catholic Church, stroll around Landa Park, explore the activities along Comal River, and get in on the family fun at Morgan's Wonderland.

To see ratings, maps, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the San Antonio travel planning site.

In June in San Antonio, expect temperatures between 93°F during the day and 74°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
