San Antonio

— 10 nights

The Alamo City

As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Kids will appreciate attractions like The Alamo and Briscoe Western Art Museum. Get some cultural insight at Mission Trail and San Antonio Museum of Art. Venture out of the city with trips to Boerne (Cibolo Nature Center, Cave Without a Name, &more), Kerrville (The Museum of Western Art & The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Gardens) and Medina River (in Bandera). And it doesn't end there: deepen your knowledge of military history at Lackland Air Force Base, make a splash at Aquatica San Antonio, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Mary's Catholic Church, and take in the history at Mission Espada.

For more things to do, where to stay, maps, and tourist information, go to the San Antonio trip planning app.

In June, plan for daily highs up to 93°F, and evening lows to 74°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
