Fortunate People in a Fortunate Land

A famed resort town since the early 20th century, Santa Monica sits on the picturesque Santa Monica Bay, bordered on three sides by the city of Los Angeles.
Do your shopping at Two Rodeo Drive and Montana Avenue. Visiting Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica State Beach will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Santa Monica: Camarillo Premium Outlets (in Camarillo), Wine Tours & Tastings (in Santa Barbara) and Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum (in Simi Valley). Pack the 23rd (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Six Flags Magic Mountain. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Zuma Beach, immerse yourself in nature at Point Dume State Beach and Preserve, wander the streets of Robertson Boulevard, and take in the awesome beauty at Santa Monica Mountains.
