Emerald City
Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.Your list of things to see and do now includes Belltown, The Triple Door, Dimitriou's Jazz Alley, and other attractions. Discover out-of-the-way places like Northwest Trek Wildlife Park and Museum of History & Industry. Get outdoors at Whatcom Falls Park and Alki Beach. Step out of Seattle to go to Woodinville and see Long Shadows Winery, which is approximately 32 minutes away. Eau Claire to Seattle is an approximately 7-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Central Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time is minus 2 hours. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Eau Claire in November, with highs in Seattle at 13°C and lows at 6°C. City of Roses
A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.Your day by day itinerary now includes Portland Farmers Market - Office Location as well as Harvey's Comedy Club. Escape the urban bustle at Willamette Valley and Pumpkin Ridge Zip Tour. Do your shopping at Powell's City of Books and Northwest (Nob Hill). There's lots more to do: walk around Forest Park, take a stroll through Alberta Street, grab your bike and head to Willamette River Trail, and take in the views from Tilikum Crossing.
