Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.

Eau Claire to Seattle is an approximately 7-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Central Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time is minus 2 hours. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Eau Claire in November, with highs in Seattle at 13°C and lows at 6°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Portland.
