Alaska Starts Here
For most visitors to this part of the world, the wild part of Alaska starts at Seward, a small port city that takes advantage of the region's natural beauty.Get out of town with these interesting Seward side-trips: Kenai Fjords National Park (Clam Gulch, Harding Ice Field Trail, &more), Soldotna (Kenai National Wildlife Refuge & Soldotna Historical Society) and Moose Pass (Moose Drop-In Trading Post & Vagt Lake Trail). Spend the 4th (Mon) exploring nature at Kenai Fjords National Park Visitor Center.
