Bryce Canyon National Park — 3 nights

You can find hoodoos--rock pillars formed by erosion--all around the world, but those of Bryce Canyon National Park remain the standard bearers thanks to their bright red color, tall stature, and arrangement in large amphitheaters.
Spend the 12th (Sun) exploring nature at Peek-A-Boo Loop. There's still lots to do: surround yourself with nature on Red Canyon Trail Rides, stroll through Navajo/Queens Garden Loop, get great views at Inspiration Point, and hike along Rim Trail.

You can drive from Kanab to Bryce Canyon National Park in 1.5 hours. In June, Bryce Canyon National Park is little chillier than Kanab - with highs of 79°F and lows of 40°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sun) to allow time to drive to St. George.

St. George — 4 nights

St. St. George Temple and Brigham Young Winter Home Historical Site will appeal to history buffs. And it doesn't end there: take a stroll through Kayenta, play a few rounds at Sunbrook Golf Club, contemplate the long history of Jacob Hamlin Home, and take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George Tabernacle.

You can drive from Bryce Canyon National Park to St. George in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and bus. When traveling from Bryce Canyon National Park in June, plan for somewhat warmer days and much hotter nights in St. George: temperatures range from 99°F by day to 70°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Thu) so you can fly back home.
