The city of Fredericksburg was settled by German immigrants in the mid-19th century, and has managed to retain its distinctly German charm.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Sat): relax in the rural setting at Wildseed Farms, indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area, then take an in-depth tour of National Museum of the Pacific War, and finally take in the dramatic natural features at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. On your second day here, make a trip to Main Street, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Mary's Catholic Church, admire the natural beauty at Fischer & Wieser's Das Peach Haus, then learn about winemaking at Grape Creek Vineyards Fredericksburg, then brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Garrison Brothers Distillery, and finally learn about winemaking at Alexander Vineyards.

Start off your visit on the 18th (Mon): Head underground at Natural Bridge Caverns, take in the history at Mission San Jose, then admire the architecture and history at Mission Concepcion, and finally browse the exhibits of The Guenther House Museum.
