Just a few metro stops away from the bustle of Washington D.C., Alexandria provides a respite from the fast-paced capital.Step out of Alexandria to go to Chantilly and see Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, which is approximately 42 minutes away. There's much more to do: wander the streets of Old Town, appreciate the extensive heritage of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, steep yourself in history at Arlington National Cemetery, and make a trip to John F. Kennedy Grave Site.
