Home to nearly half of Alaska's population, the port city of Anchorage covers a staggering area of over 4,900 sq km (1,900 sq mi) surrounded by mountains.
On the 16th (Sat), identify plant and animal life at Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, then see the interesting displays at Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center, and then stop by Cabin Fever. On the next day, explore the striking landscape at Beluga Point, identify plant and animal life at Potter Marsh Bird Sanctuary, then grab your bike and head to Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, and finally examine the collection at Alaska Jewish Museum.

Orlando to Anchorage is an approximately 13.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also do a combination of bus, flight, and car; or drive. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Alaska Standard Time, which is usually a -4 hour difference.
