Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Dinosaur Ridge, then see the interesting displays at Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, then examine the collection at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Trinity United Methodist Church.

San Francisco to Denver is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. The largest municipality in Missouri, Kansas City has an impressive array of world-class museums, shopping areas, and great places to eat, all of which attract tourism to the area.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Remington Nature Center and Pony Express Museum. Bingham Waggoner Estate and Patee House Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Salt Lake City

Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.
You'll explore and learn at Thanksgiving Point and Museum of Natural Curiosity. Visiting River Rafting & Tubing and Timpanogos Cave National Monument will get you outdoors.
