The Alamo City
As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.Step off the beaten path and head to Admiral Nimitz State Historic Site and The Museum of Western Art. Museum-lovers will get to explore The Alamo and Pioneer Museum Complex. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Texas Prison Museum and Texas Star Winery.
