On the 30th (Sat), explore the world behind art at National Gallery of Art, see the interesting displays at National Air and Space Museum, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Tomb of the Unknowns. On your second day here, pause for some serene contemplation at Washington National Cathedral, then take an in-depth tour of United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, then get a new perspective on nature at Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and finally get engrossed in the history at National Portrait Gallery.
