Manistique, formerly Monistique, is the only incorporated city in and the county seat of Schoolcraft County of the U.S. Kick off your visit on the 8th (Mon): immerse yourself in nature at Fayette Historic State Park, admire all the interesting features of Thompson State Fish Hatchery, and then admire the majestic nature at Palms Book State Park. On the 9th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for gifts at The Mustard Seed, shop like a local with Lake Effect Art Gallery, then enjoy the sea views from Seul Choix Point Lighthouse, and finally stroll through The Manistique Boardwalk and River Walk.

Munising is a city on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. Escape the urban bustle at Sand Point Beach and Chapel Rock and Beach.
