The town of West Yellowstone has served as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park since the early 1900s.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Midway Geyser Basin and Artists Paintpots. Visiting Old Faithful and Fishing Charters & Tours will get you outdoors. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 18th (Thu) so you can go by car to Grand Teton National Park.

The peaks of Grand Teton National Park aren't the highest in the world, but they sit atop what might be nature's archetypes for mountains.
Take a break from the city and head to Grand Teton and 42-mile Scenic Loop Drive. Step off the beaten path and head to Inspiration Point and Teton Park Road. Explore Grand Teton National Park's surroundings by going to Yellowstone National Park (Upper Geyser Basin, Castle Geyser, &more). There's still lots to do: explore the wealth of natural beauty at String Lake, hike along Menor's Ferry Historical Trail, explore the stunning scenery at Cascade Canyon, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Chapel of the Sacred Heart.

Drive from West Yellowstone to Grand Teton National Park in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and car. In June in Grand Teton National Park, expect temperatures between 72°F during the day and 39°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
