A genuine cowboy city, Cody is famous for its nightly rodeos and its proximity to the protected wilderness areas of the world's first national park, now designated as one of the country's World Heritage Sites.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Cody Night Rodeo, Old Trail Town, Dan Miller's Cowboy Music Revue, and other attractions. Kick off your visit on the 6th (Tue): look for gifts at Wayne's Boot Shop and then have fun at Cody Night Rodeo. On the 7th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: grab your bike and head to Paul Stock Nature Trail, admire the masterpieces at Whitney Western Art Museum, then learn more about the world around you at Draper Natural History Museum, then contemplate the long history of Old Trail Town, and finally take in a show at Dan Miller's Cowboy Music Revue.
