Lake Placid — 3 nights

Lake Placid is a village in the Adirondack Mountains in Essex County, New York, United States. Go for a jaunt from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake to see The Wild Center about 44 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: explore the activities along Mirror Lake, contemplate the long history of John Brown Farm State Historic Site, enjoy the sand and surf at Wilmington Town Beach, and tour or see a game at Lake Placid Olympic Museum.
