Kick off your visit on the 26th (Mon): steep yourself in history at Centennial Olympic Park, then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Georgia Aquarium, then test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, and finally stroll around Piedmont Park.

Traveling from Fort Lauderdale in December, things will get colder in Atlanta: highs are around 59°F and lows about 42°F. On the 27th (Tue), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Hayesville.

Hayesville — 10 nights

Hayesville is a town in Clay County, North Carolina, in the United States. Get out of town with these interesting Hayesville side-trips: Big Laurel Falls (in Otto), Wishon's Fishing Hole (in Nantahala Township) and Tellico Plains (Indian Boundary General Store & Tellico Trout Hatchery). The adventure continues: do a tasting at Crane Creek Vineyards, admire the engineering at Chatuge Dam Trail, look and learn at Rollins Planetarium, and get engrossed in the history at Memory Lane Classic Cars.
