Big Sky is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gallatin and Madison counties in southwestern Montana. Escape the urban bustle at Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Lamar Valley. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Big Sky: Yellowstone National Park (Grand Prismatic Spring, Upper Geyser Basin, & more) and Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center (in West Yellowstone). Next up on the itinerary: stroll through Ousel Falls Trail, see what you can catch with a fishing tour, fly down the slopes at Big Sky Resort, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Lone Peak.
