A genuine cowboy city, Cody is famous for its nightly rodeos and its proximity to the protected wilderness areas of the world's first national park, now designated as one of the country's World Heritage Sites.
On the 12th (Tue), stop by Cowtown Candy Company, see the interesting displays at Cody Firearms Museum, then get engrossed in the history at Buffalo Bill Center of the West, and finally see the interesting displays at Cody Dug Up Gun Museum. On the 13th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get a new perspective on nature at Draper Natural History Museum, then see human ingenuity at work at Buffalo Bill Dam, and then get engrossed in the history at Plains Indian Museum.

Indianapolis to Cody is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference.
