Colorado Springs — 2 nights

Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
Change things up with a short trip to River Rafting & Tubing in Cañon City (about 1h 15 min away). There's much more to do: walk around Garden of the Gods, deepen your knowledge of military history at United States Air Force Academy, get in on the family fun at Cave of the Winds Mountain Park, and get to know the resident critters at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
