Originally built as a base for Vail Ski Resort, the town of Vail has blossomed into its own destination, but still has less than 6,000 permanent residents.
On the 16th (Fri), see what you can catch with a fishing tour and then trot along with a tour on horseback. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: stroll through Booth Falls Trail, then take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and then sample the tasty concoctions at Broken Compass Brewery & Tap House.
