New York City to Denver is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. Ouray is a Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat and the most populous city of Ouray County, Colorado, United States. Get outdoors at Yankee Boy Basin and Ridgway State Park. Change things up with a short trip to Kendall Mountain in Silverton (about 44 minutes away). While traveling from Glenwood Springs, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Ouray, ranging from highs of 74°F to lows of 52°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Wed) early enough to drive to Telluride.
