Ouray is a Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat and the most populous city of Ouray County, Colorado, United States. Take a break from the city and head to Yankee Boy Basin and Ouray Box Canyon Waterfall. Let the collections at Museum of the Mountain West and Ouray County Museum capture your imagination. When in Ouray, make a side trip to see Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park, approximately 1h 30 min away. There's much more to do: admire the sheer force of Box Canyon Waterfall & Park, trek along Cascade Falls Park, and stroll through Bear Creek Falls.

Known as a ski resort town, Aspen's history goes back to its roots as a silver-mining village tucked away in an isolated valley of the Rocky Mountains.
On the 6th (Sat), relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, appreciate the history behind The John Denver Sanctuary, and then trek along Maroon Lake Scenic Trail. On the next day, tour the pleasant surroundings at Crater Lake Trail and then grab your bike and head to Rio Grande Trail.
