Newark to Flagstaff is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Red Rock Country
Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.Change things up with a short trip to Montezuma Castle National Monument in Camp Verde (about 42 minutes away). There's still lots to do: explore the striking landscape at Cathedral Rock, take in breathtaking views at Oak Creek Canyon, admire all the interesting features of Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179), and hike along Airport Mesa.
