Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Have a day of magic on the 23rd (Tue) at Walt Disney World Resort. There's lots more to do: get in on the family fun at Universal Orlando Resort, discover the magic at Epcot, admire the masterpieces at Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, and deepen your understanding at Museum Of Illusions Orlando.

Kalamazoo to Orlando is an approximately 18-hour car ride. In May, Orlando is somewhat warmer than Kalamazoo - with highs of 88°F and lows of 69°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Thu) to allow time to drive to Siesta Key.

Conch Republic

Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Popular historic sites such as Truman Little White House and Key West Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters Museum are in your itinerary. Marathon — 2 nights

Heart of the Florida Keys

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Tue): tour the pleasant surroundings at Bahia Honda State Park, enjoy the sand and surf at Sunset Park Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Anne's Beach. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Pablo Catholic Church, steep yourself in history at Pigeon Key, and then kick back and relax at Sombrero Beach.

Navarre is an unincorporated community in Santa Rosa County in the northwest Florida Panhandle. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Thu): enjoy the sand and surf at Gulf Islands National Seashore, enjoy the sand and surf at Pensacola Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Navarre Beach.

You can do a combination of shuttle and flight from Marathon to Navarre in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Central Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Marathon in May: high temperatures in Navarre hover around 81°F and lows are around 64°F. On the 2nd (Fri), you're off to home.
