Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Head to The Strip and The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resortfor some retail therapy. Go for a jaunt from Las Vegas to Boulder City to see Hoover Dam about 50 minutes away. There's lots more to do: explore the striking landscape at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, make a trip to Fountains of Bellagio, enjoy breathtaking views from Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck, and try your luck at Paris Las Vegas.

Syracuse to Las Vegas is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus.
