Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Los Angeles: Wine Tours & Tastings (in Santa Barbara), Rodeo Drive (in Beverly Hills) and Disneyland Park (in Anaheim). Pack the 25th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Studios Hollywood. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at The Getty Center, kick back and relax at Venice Beach and Boardwalk, enjoy some diversion at California Science Center, and take in the waterfront at Santa Monica Pier.
