Stretching through the White Mountain National Forest, Lincoln welcomes hikers along the Appalachian Trail.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Harman's Cheese & Country Store and The Gallery at WREN. Get a sense of the local culture at Seven Birches Winery and Hermit Woods Winery. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lincoln: Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site (in Cornish), Omni Mount Washington Resort Bretton Woods Golf Course (in Bretton Woods) and West Rattlesnake Mountain (in Holderness). Traveling from Syracuse in May, plan for a bit cooler nights in Lincoln, with lows around 43°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) early enough to go by car to North Conway.

When traveling from Lincoln in May, plan for a bit cooler days in North Conway, with highs around 59°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 43°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) early enough to travel to Rye.

Rye is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Kick off your visit on the 5th (Wed): see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, then enjoy the sea views from Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, and then admire the majestic nature at Odiorne Point State Park. Keep things going the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at Hampton Beach State Park, sample the tasty concoctions at Smuttynose Brewing, then do a tasting at Flag Hill Distillery & Winery, and finally look for gifts at Tendercrop Farm.
