Santa Fe continuously ranks among the world's top holiday destinations, attracting visitors with its unusual combination of scenic beauty, rich history, cultural diversity, and high concentration of performing arts venues, fine restaurants, and interesting attractions.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and Mama's Minerals. Take a break from the city and head to Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument and Wild Rivers Recreation Area. Go for a jaunt from Santa Fe to Cimarron to see Philmont Scout Ranch about 2 hours away. There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Loretto Chapel, take a stroll through Canyon Road, take in the exciting artwork at Canyon Road Contemporary Art, and examine the collection at Museum of International Folk Art.

Albuquerque to Santa Fe is an approximately 1-hour bus ride. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Albuquerque in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Santa Fe, with lows of 60°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) early enough to travel to Albuquerque.

Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Escape the urban bustle at Bandelier National Monument and Petroglyph National Monument. Albuquerque Old Town and Indian Pueblo Cultural Center are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Change things up with a short trip to Sky City Cultural Center & Haak'u Museum in Pueblo of Acoma (about 1h 30 min away). There's still lots to do: have fun and explore at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum of Albuquerque, steep yourself in history at Old San Ysidro Church, take in the spiritual surroundings of San Felipe de Neri Church, and pause for some serene contemplation at Capilla de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe.
