Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Key West is known for museums, adventure, and wildlife. Charlotte to Key West is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus, taxi, and ferry. Traveling from Charlotte in February, things will get much warmer in Key West: highs are around 78°F and lows about 68°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 21st (Mon) early enough to drive to Marathon.

Marathon

Heart of the Florida Keys

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Tue): tour the pleasant surroundings at National Key Deer Refuge, then relax and rejuvenate at SpaTerre at Little Palm Island Resort, and then kick back and relax at Sombrero Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 23rd (Wed): see the interesting displays at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, tour the pleasant surroundings at Bahia Honda State Park, and then kick back and relax at Sunset Park Beach.

Separated by water from the neighboring city of Miami, Miami Beach sits on a barrier island between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
