Sanibel Island — 2 nights

Take a trip to Sanibel Island if you like pretty sunsets and luxurious resorts.
On the 15th (Sat), get outside with Outdoor Activities, then take in the exciting artwork at Tower Gallery, and then identify plant and animal life at J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge. On your second day here, browse the eclectic array of goods at Sanibel Island Farmer's Market, let little ones run wild at Sanibel Community Playground, then look for all kinds of wild species at Pond Apple Park, and finally walk around Causeway Islands Park.

Kick off your visit on the 17th (Mon): take in the pleasant sights at Hoboken Waterfront Walkway, then stroll around Branch Brook Park, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
