The capital of Minnesota, Saint Paul represents half of the "Twin Cities" and embraces the outdoors and urban culture.
On the 4th (Sun), take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of Saint Paul, then get engrossed in the history at Minnesota History Center, then get a new perspective on nature at Science Museum of Minnesota, and finally go for a walk through Wabasha Street Bridge. On the next day, walk around Birkmose Park, then get a sense of history and politics at Minnesota State Capitol, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, and finally take a stroll through Summit Avenue.

Situated on the westernmost point of the Lake Superior, Duluth represents a booming port city.
Step out of Duluth to go to Two Harbors and see Gooseberry Falls State Park, which is approximately 50 minutes away.
